Alcantara is thrilled to have been part of The Bridge VI, one of the most exclusive events in the American automotive world, set against the verdant backdrop of the former Bridgehampton Race Circuit in the Hamptons.
ALCANTARA, PARTNER OF THE BRIDGE VI
The world's most exclusive automotive event, set against the charming backdrop of the Hamptons.
For its sixth edition, The Bridge unveiled more than 300 unique and extraordinary luxury cars, from the most sought-after and rare to new market previews, to a highly select pool of collectors, enthusiasts and sector specialists as part of an exclusive, invite-only garden party on 17 September.
“We are delighted to have played a part in this hugely important international event. Alcantara and its luxury lifestyle DNA was presented as a privileged automotive partner by some of the world’s most prestigious car brands, for whom we pride ourselves on creating bespoke interiors. In honour of the occasion, we unveiled “The Architects Studio” by American artist Rebecca Moses: an installation designed to highlight the material’s extraordinary properties and capacity for customisation through a selection of unique pieces born from her creative genius,” recounts Andrea Boragno, President and CEO of Alcantara.

The installation was almost like an open-air gallery, showcasing the new Alcantara collections and the material’s incredible versatility through unique interior design pieces, it-bags, iconic fashion items and hi-tech accessories, such as the RØDE headphones and the Microsoft Surface. An expository journey that traced a symbolic map of the infinite uses and applications of this material that is so fundamental to luxury living.
“From ultra-customised car interiors to avant-garde interior design pieces, from super-yacht furnishings to iconic accessories: Alcantara has always been synonymous with creativity”, affirms Moses. “As someone with a huge amount of passion and respect for the creative minds who innovate in the world of design, I wanted The Studio to surprise people with my personal visions and interpretations of the material”.
Alcantara was showcased as automotive partner of choice by the most prestigious car brands in the world, who participated in the event to shed a spotlight on their own creations, many of which feature ultra-customised interiors. Take the Lamborghini Urus for example, featuring a Nero Cosmus black Alcantara interior with stitching to match the outside of the car, hypercars like Pagani and Czinger, presenting the red 21C Max with its tailor-made beige Alcantara interior, Rimac with their Nevera model and the legendary Valhalla cars by Aston Martin.
With The Bridge, Alcantara sought to tell its story through a sort of museum under the skies of Bridgehampton: on the one hand, the cars on display demonstrated the technical and aesthetic qualities of the material – elegant, ultra-soft, and resistant –, whilst on the other hand, “The Architect Studio” enabled guests to immerse themselves in the world of Alcantara with a 360-degree experience, highlighting its exceptional versatility.
A material with thousands of personalities but one identity.
