Alcantara returns to Goodwood Festival of Speed 2024 emphasizing its role as a privileged partner in the automotive industry.
Alcantara was at the center of the scene at the Goodwood Festival of Speed 2024, a not-to-be-missed celebration of major carmakers held in the park surrounding the iconic Goodwood House.
The 2024 edition saw the launch of a series of vehicles with interiors in Alcantara, demonstrating the ability of the material to enrich and enhance automotive design.
McLaren Senna,
Artura and F1 Road Car
The protagonist of McLaren house is the McLaren Senna with the Senna Sempre livery that pays tribute to Ayrton Senna. Inside, an exclusive yellow Alcantara coating with tunneling and green backing immediately catches the eye. The padded door panels in black Alcantara are decorated with the signature of Ayrton Senna next to his historical quote that explains the ethics and philosophy of the Champion: “I have no idols. I admire the work, dedication and competence”.
Among the cars on display, also McLaren Artura and McLaren F1 Road Car have interiors in Alcantara.
BMW XM
The world première of BMW M5 and X3
In addition to the presence of the already famous BMW XM with the ceiling covered with three-dimensional Alcantara finish, the BMW M5 and BMW X3 were presented in the world premiere
The long-standing collaboration between Alcantara and BMW was told by the presence of Made in Italy material in black on both cars
Hispano Suiza:
Carmen Boulogne
After its world premiere, Hispano Suiza, to celebrate the its 120th anniversary, debuted at the Goodwood Festival of Speed 2024 presenting the Carmen Boulogne. The electric hypercar with an attractive design and sporty character is characterized by a laser perforated black Alcantara coating with contrasting orange backing on seats and door panels and black Alcantara on steering wheel and dashboard, highlighting exclusivity and quality.

The Italian Alfa Romeo has brought for the first time in the United Kingdom the 33 Stradale and the new entry Alfa Romeo Junior, both characterized by exclusive interiors in Alcantara.
Alcantara was also inside other premium cars, such as the Lotus Emira, Emeya and Eletre and the electric Hyundai Ioniq 5N.
As Goodwood Festival of Speed continues to be the largest event in the English automotive calendar, Alcantara is confirmed as the privileged partner for car manufacturers, thanks to its versatility and uniqueness.
