ALCANTARA AT THE 2024 MONTEREY CAR WEEK

Alcantara returns 2024 Monterey Car Week, the prestigious Californian motor gathering, where vintage and rare automobiles are showcased and judged for their historical accuracy, their technical merit and their style. A great occasion for Alcantara to be emphasized as a unique luxury brand and privileged automotive partner by the most important carmakers in the world.

Alcantara and Gunther Werks have joined forces to personalize the GWR and the Turbo models unveiled for the first time at the 2024 iteration of The Quail, a Motorsports Gathering during Monterey Car Week. The Alcantara design team has jointly developed for these two special models an outstanding interiors application to not only enhance the driving experience offered by the cars but characterize the vehicle in a unique and unmistakable way.

The GWR model presents a laser perforated pattern on black Alcantara with a solid gold back on Gen.2 seats and lower dashboard. Same technology has been used for the Turbo which features a custom designed laser perforated pattern on red Alcantara with a custom green back, on Gen.3 seats and lower dashboard.

This exclusive design pushes the boundaries of how Alcantara can be utilized in an automotive application creating the perfect balance between the original interior and newly designed luxurious and performance orientated elements.

Eccentrica, a San Marino-based restomod manufacturer, globally unveiled its fully drivable Eccentrica V12, a modern interpretation of the legendary Lamborghini Diablo, at The Quail. The wrap-around seats in Ice Alcantara tell the story of the nineties, with their wrap-around lines and squared-off cushion design divided by horizontal lines where the embossed logo stands out, with it two crossed C’s repeating to create a decorative line. The side panel of the seat, the ceiling and the steering wheel are also dressed with Alcantara. This functional decision ensures grip for the driver when cornering and breathability, while lending the seat a timeless refinement.

The central tunnel connected to the dashboard is upholstered in plain Alcantara, again in blue colour, as are the interiors door linings.

At The Quail Alcantara was also showcased in other luxury cars, such as Rimac that introduced a bold new character to the Nevera family: the Nevera R.
A thrilling evolution designed to be the aggressive alter ego to the Nevera, the R shifts from Hyper GT into Hyper Sportscar. Interior features include dark grey Alcantara which enhance the driving experience of the vehicle.

Made in Italy was highlighted by Maserati who presented the Maserati GT2 Stradale, an ode to the most extraordinary and exclusive sportiness, the result of a technical and stylistic choices which includes Alcantara blue for seats, and grey for dashboard and steering wheel.

Following its worldwide première, the Hispano Suiza made its appearance at The Quail with the Carmen Segrera.
